Kirk Wagner began in private practice focused on litigation defense of commercial agribusiness and natural resource clients, concluding with one of the world’s largest law firms.

After 17 years of private practice, Kirk assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer, General Counsel and Managing Member for one of the largest U.S.-based vertically integrated agribusiness companies operating in both the fresh and frozen markets, packing under the largest U.S. grocery retail brands and under an exclusive master license with one of the largest national brands in world.

Kirk has returned to private practice to represent a small but select group of agribusiness clients with a focus on companies with well-established international production and distribution networks that prioritize consumer safety and emerging companies with proprietary technology intended to enhance food quality while minimizing environmental impact.

Kirk will continue to serve as President of two companies that self-insure the California worker’s compensation exposure of a consortium of affiliated growing, harvesting, labor supply and processing/shipping companies.
